About Our Operation

We're a small family farm of about 600 acres near Gifford, Illinois and grow Corn, Soybeans and Wheat. We're committed to no-till/cover crop practices and have switched to all Non-GMO crops to not only increase environmental sustainability, but profitability as well. We try to always be learning, whether it be through on farm trials, new crops, or new practices.

Who Are We?

Eric became involved in the operation around 2011 and was full time by 2013. He and his wife Lisa have 6 children from ages 4-23, which keeps him plenty busy when not at the farm. He, with his oldest son Frank, run the day to day operations on the farm.
Frank graduated from the University of Illinois in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Crop Sciences with a focus on Plant Protection. He joined the farm full time after graduation and loves his job, sometimes a little too much.
None of this would be possible without Norman and Jeanne Rademacher, Eric's parents. They began the operation around 1971 and still live out on the farm and help out.
Luke is Eric and Lisa's youngest son and loves to "help." You wouldn't know it by talking to him, but he's not actually in charge around here. But, seeing how he has a way of impacting the amount we get accomplished in a day, maybe he is.
